I loved being a table leader for MOPS this year. Giving gifts is definitely the love language I love to speak and being a table leader gave me plenty of opportunities! =}
I was thrilled to be able to throw what was supposed to be a surprise shower for Christi as she waited for her baby girl to arrive. BUT...the meeting before we were planning to throw her shower, she let us know that she was scheduled to be induced before then! So, we told her what we had planned and asked her to let us know when she was ready to come back so we could do it then. Which, actually, worked out perfectly! Christi's mom was able to be there, we had plenty of time because of the meeting topic that day, and Elizabeth got to be there, too!!
Mandy made the most adorable teddy bear cake - pretty great for her first cake decorating adventure! (It was also pretty yummy!) We got to shower Christi with all kinds of girlie goodies for the new arrival. Elizabeth slept through the whole thing, but we all got to ooh and aah over her.
